We learned about open source last class. It's a good way to download material without having the FBI busting down your door.

The week before last, we talked about using internet on your cell phone. They now have programs on the new google phones where you can point your cell phone at building to find out information about them

So last class we talked about getting music for free legally, and ripping music from youtube for your itunes

picnik

About two weeks ago we learned in our beyond facebook class about picnik. It's basically a program that allows you to crop any photo for free. I wouldn't use this all the time, but if I get bored one day, I probably go to picnik and crop to make my pictures crazy looking.

SO we learned about the fundamentals of youtube last week. I already knew a lot about it but i mean, Youtube can never get old. It always can satisfy your boredom no matter what mood your in.If we just watched youtube videos for the rest of the year in this class, i would be okay with that.

Draw Here

I just signed up for draw here and i was amazed on some of the art people created. I just don't understand how you can make such clear art with your mouse. I feel like I'm kindergarten when i draw on other websites. I've never heard of a website like this with so much freedom to mess with other sites. I probably won't use it that much, but its good to be informed about.

Wiki

I usually don't use Wikipedia, but for research papers, it's quite helpful. The website use to be where anybody can edit the text. This means most of the information was unreliable. These days they have stricter rules on what to post. You have to have an expert's permission to post any information.
